Shoqata “Gender, Paqe e Siguri” zhvilloi sesionin e rradhës informues në kuadër të Projektit “Fuqizimi ekonomik i grave dhe vajzave të margjinalizuara në zonat rurale të Bashkisë Durrës” mbështeur nga Qeveria Kanadeze nëpërmjet Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). Pjesë e këtij takimi ishin gra, vajza, burra e djem nga komuniteti i Njësisë Administrative Sukth, të cilët u informuan mbi të drejtat e punësimit të grave, tregun e punës në Shqipëri, papunësia dhe politikat e punësimit, si dhe shërbimet që ofrohen për gratë dhe vajzat nga gupet e margjinalizuara. Gjatë takimit, pjesëmarrësit ngritën shqetësimin mbi mundësitë e pakta të punësimit për gratë e vajzat në zonë, gjendja e dobët social ekonomike e familjes, si dhe mungesa e insitucioneve dhe shërbimeve për përkujdesjen e fëmijëve.

The Association "Gender, Peace and Security" held today the next informative session in the frame of the Project "Economic Empowerment of Women and Marginalized Girls in the Rural Areas of the Durrës Municipality" supported by the Canadian Government through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). Part of this meeting were women, girls, men and boys from the community of the Sukth Administrative Unit, who were informed about women's employment rights, the labor market in Albania, unemployment and employment policies, as well as the services offered to women and girls from marginalized groups. During the meeting, the participants raised concerns about the limited employment opportunities for women and girls in the area, the weak social and economic situation of their families, as well as the lack of institutions and services for child care.
